Mr. Catanzano brings more than 15 years of executive level experience in high tech market and business development of early and growth stage ventures as well as two years managing a successful registered broker-dealer firm. Mr Catanzano’s strengths include corporate strategy, business development, regulatory and compliance expertise, and corporate finance. Mr. Catanzano earned a B.S. in Finance from Bentley College. Experience includes: Co-founder and SVP Business Development—Digital Broadband, Director of Worldwide Sales—Aware, Inc., Market Development Manager—Shiva Corporation, Principal—Mutual Fund Investment Group.
Roger Matus has successfully brought dozens of innovative products to market, including PCs, video boards, speech recognition software, internet telephony services, audio conferencing equipment, and software security applications.
He is a well-known speaker on technology with appearances on ABC World News Tonight, the Nightly Business Report, NPR’s Marketplace, and more. Mr. Matus won Software Marketing Journal’s prestigious national Award for Best Marketing Strategy, created one of the nation’s “Top 50 Best Business to Business” web sites, and was profiled in Marketing Computers magazine. He is also author of the widely-respected Death By Email blog. Mr. Matus is co-inventor of patent 6,839,669 for performing actions in wireless devices, cell phones, and handheld computers.
Mr. Matus was the co-founder and CEO of InBoxer , Inc. Other positions include Executive Vice President for WebReply.Com, Chief Marketing Officer for Octave Communications, Vice President of New Products and Technologies for iBasis (NASDAQ) and both Vice President of New Products and Technologies and Vice President of North American Marketing for Dragon Systems. Mr. Matus has an MBA from the University of Chicago, an MS in Engineering from Boston University, and a BA in Journalism from Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Public Communications.
Sean True brings more than a decade of experience building easy-to-use systems based on complex technologies, such as artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and speech recognition. He was the co-founder and Chief Technologist of InBoxer, Inc. and was the Chief Technical Officer for WebReply.com, a company that specializes in email delivery using anti-SPAM techniques and the creation of individualized custom web sites.
Prior to joining WebReply, Mr. True served in a variety of positions at Dragon Systems, including Director of Development. He directed the team that created Dragon's AudioMining product. From 1989 to 1994, he served as Director of Research and Development at Rational Systems, a provider of advanced systems software for Intel platforms. Prior to that, he founded Obsidian Computers, Inc., where he developed a family of real-time data acquisition and control servers based on distributed computing technology. Mr. True holds a B.A. degree in Biopsychology from Earlham College and spent several years at M.I.T. working on biological and machine vision.
Michael Thomson brings over 12 years of high tech sales and sales management experience to Safecore. Mr. Thomson held numerous senior account executive positions at Avaya where he focused on the financial and healthcare verticals. Prior to Avaya, Mr. Thomson was National Account Manager for Lucent Technologies. Mr. Thomson was also a Regional Sales Manager for Cabletron Systems. Mr. Thomson has a Bachelors of Arts from the University of New Hampshire.
Peter has over 12 years of sales and channel development experience in both the financial services and high tech industries. Mr. Alex has worked at Smith Barney, Northwestern Mutual Life, MFS Investments and Evergreen Investments. As a Regional Vice President at Evergreen Investments, in three years Peter increased his annual territory sales from $29 million to more than $700 million. Mr. Alex is responsible for developing regional and nationl channel relationship. Mr. Alex graduated from Syracuse University with a BS in Economics.
Mr. Roskowick is an experienced executive with over 20 years of Senior Management and consulting experience and a career characterized by leadership, professionalism, innovation, and perseverance. Mr. Roskowick's strengths are Home Land Security, network and data security, Operational Support Systems design and integration of diverse networks (data and voice), building and managing a Sales team, Project Management/Professional Services and customer support to support the services that run on these networks. Mr. Roskowick's prior company experience includes: Harvard Business School, Continental Cablevision, Navisite (CMGI), AboveNet Communications, chello Broadband and Vectant Inc., a U.S. subsidiary of Marubeni. Mr. Roskowick holds a B.S. in Psychology from Washington State University and did post-graduate work at U.C.L.A. and U.C.S.C. in Logic and Ethics.
Eric Emerson has more than 12 years experience in developing software and systems as well as consulting for security including performing Sarbanes-Oxley audits and SaS(70). Mr. Emerson has been recruited to Safecore to develop and implement our software and intellectual property strategy, and to build a software development team. Mr. O’Brien is the CEO of the O’Brien Group and former Chairman and CEO of New England Telephone (now Verizon). He brings more than 30 years of executive experience and leadership in the communications and information technology industry. Prior to his role as Chairman and CEO of New England Telephone, Mr. O’Brien served as Chairman and President of NYNEX Material Enterprises. Concurrent with his retirement from NYNEX in December of 1994, Mr. O’Brien formed the O’Brien Group, Inc. a telecom investment firm. In 1995, Mr. O’Brien assumed the Presidency of Pan-Asia Development, an investment firm concentrating on Asian ventures. In addition to Safecore, Mr. O’Brien serves as Chairman of Cequent Holdings and on the Board of Directors of SONEXIS and the Computer Merchant. He has previously served on the board of Bank Boston, Shiva Corporation, First Pacific Networks, and Cambridge Neuro Science Networks. Mr. O’Brien serves in civic and charitable organizations including the United Way of Massachusetts Bay, as a member of the Executive Committee; The Wang Center for the Performing Arts, as a trustee; and One-to-One/the Mass Mentoring Partnership, where he is the co-founder. Mr. O’Brien has an MBA from NYU and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Manhattan College.

His experiences include: Former President and Chief Executive Officer Central Savings Bank - a full service retail and commercial financial institution, Chairman of Saints Memorial Medical Center Board of Trustees, Board of Directors, Executive Vice President, Group Director of Trust, Investment Management, Municipal Services, Personnel and Administration Divisions - Union National Bank, a subsidiary of State Street Boston Corporation. Senior Vice President Trust, Financial Services Division Head- Enterprise Band and Trust Company. Mr. Thomson has a Bachelor in Business Administration and Master in Finance Degrees from Northeastern University.
